Vantage FP&A Launches Quality of Earnings and Financial Reporting for Business Acquisitions
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 16, 2026. Vantage FP&A delivers quality of earnings (QoE) analysis on business acquisitions and, after close, builds and maintains the monthly financial reporting the owner runs the company on.
A Vantage quality of earnings walks Adjusted EBITDA to Reported EBITDA period by period. The add-backs it identifies are shown beside the rules that decided them, and by default only an add-back that clears a stated test is included in Adjusted EBITDA. It carries working capital month by month, and the flags it raises state what failed and the evidence behind them. The package includes a list of diligence questions generated from its findings and from the inputs it still needs.
Vantage has performed a two-year set of digital records through ingestion and automated checks, covering more than 200 bank and credit card statements, 24 payroll registers, two years of tax return data and a 500,000-line general ledger, in an estimated 2 hours of run time on one laptop including analysis, before human-in-the-loop (HITL) review.
"A deal gets priced on earnings, and every figure in it should show where it came from," said Nicolas Griebenow, founder of Vantage FP&A. "That's the work we do. Name of the game is speed, accuracy, economical, and most of all secure."
Vantage prepares its quality of earnings for the party that engages it, whether a buyer or a seller and its broker.
